About Brickhill

Brickhill is an area in the north of Bedford, in the county of Bedfordshire. The name Brickhill is a nod to the ‘Brickhill Farm’ which occupied the area, before it was developed. It is thought that ‘Brickhill’ is a reference to the possibility of brick making in the area, as the area has high clay content soil.

Brickhill has a great number of open spaces in comparison to other areas in the vicinity. There is also a parade of shops, a cafe, a car wash, a post office and several business premises.
