With a population of 32,500, Brighouse is a thriving West Yorkshire town situated 7 miles from Bradford, 12 from Leeds and 24 from Manchester. Getting in and out of the town is incredibly straightforward as Brighouse has its own train station that serves both the Huddersfield Line and the Calder Valley Line, where access to London Kings Cross is direct.
Once famous for its sweet tooth, Brighouse was the main area of residency for thousands of Turner and Wainwright Toffee Co employees. In the 20th century, the company was one of the leading employers in the West Yorkshire vicinity.
This bustling town has much to offer its residents, with plenty of restaurants, pubs, bars and eateries to choose from; Brighouse also offers lovely outdoor spaces, leisure facilities, play centres, supermarkets, local museums and so much more.
Brighouse is also home to the world's tallest outdoor climbing wall. The wall, situated in the ROKT centre, is 36 metres tall and is a major attraction in the area.
