One of Bristols most recognisable features, is Clifton Suspension Bridge and a true wonder to behold. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, it is one of the oldest existing suspension bridges, floating 248 feet above water with a total length of 1,352 feet. Floating is something of a theme Bristol, and along the River Avon is Underfall Yard, a floating harbour and working boatyard which includes a visitor centre and café.
