About Burton-on-Trent

Despite the famous face that comes from the area, Burton-on-Trent is most famous for brewing beer. Many well-known brands, including Carling, were brewed in the town. Burton is home to eight different breweries currently in operation; in fact, the town's local football team, Burton Albion FC, have been aptly nicknamed the Brewers!

Burton-on-Trent, also known as Burton, is a quaint market town situated in the county of Staffordshire, about a 30-minutes’ drive from the centre of Derby. The town is branded the Brewing Capital of the world and with a population of around 75,000, this town is also a hot spot for national and international visitors all year round. Links in and out of town are accessible, with a local train station and excellent bus links, getting around is extremely convenient.
