About East Ham
This diverse area of East London has a population of 76,000 residents, and famous faces such as Hollywood Icon Idris Elba and World War II singer and actress Dame Vera Lynn both hail from the region.
In the area's epicentre, the Town Hall is the hub of the community, with all tube and bus links available. East Ham tube is on the District line with routes east to Dagenham and Upminster and west to Hammersmith and Ealing.
