About Northumberland

Northumberland is the northern-most historic county of England. To the south, it borders Scotland as well as County Durham, and Tyne and Wear. To the west, sits Cumbria. It is home to the most castles in the whole of England and its closest cities are Edinburgh, Glasgow, York and Manchester.
